Another Knottie Wedding

We love working with "Knot" brides because their details are always so unique and this bride is no exception. Jodippls frequents the Nov 2009 Board as well as the North Florida board and is getting ready for her November 14th wedding. I love this time of year, the great weather and the overwhelming sensation for shopping that comes. In honor of the most expensive time of year, we have a couple of discounts we want to make you aware of. Here's what we've got going on...

1. Refer a friend - Referrals are the sincerest form of flattery. Every referral you send our way will receive 10% off their entire order (whether its for an aisle runner, invitations, or both!). And if you are an existing client, you will receive a complimentary table runner as our way of saying "Thanks"!

2. Holiday Cards. We are happy to announce our new line of holiday cards using Envelopments Papers! All holiday card orders will receive 15% off if placed by October 31st. 3. We are introducing a new line of custom card boxes! We are very excited about this new venture and will have some fabulous samples online shortly!

4. Price Increase notification. No one likes this one, but it is a necessity. It has been about 15 months since our last increase and it is time, once again, to do so. However, we pride ourselves on having the most competitive prices in the industry, so if you find a lower price elsewhere, we will do our best to match or beat their prices! UNF Bridal Show this Sunday!!!

Any bride in the Jacksonville area is welcomed to join us at the UNF Bridal Show taking place this Sunday at 1pm at UNF's University Center!

Wedding of Karissa and Steven

Karissa and Steven are getting married this weekend. So in celebration of their big day coming, we wanted to share their gorgeous display of couture creations!

I originally received a sample of the couple's invitation which was wrapped in a deep olive silk and adorned with fuscia pink ribbon and rhinestone buckle. We began to create the following itmes based on this concept. . .

First up is the church door banner which announced the couple, date and time of the ceremony. We placed this banner on a pair of dowel rods and ribbon accent.

Next, was the (gorgeous) custom monogrammed aisle runner. This beautiful 65 foot ivory runner was monogrammed with the couples names, wedding date and we encased the runner in a two layer dark olive ribbon (ruffled). Separating the names was a fuscia pink ribbon and glittered buckle. The bride opted for glitter instead of rhinestones so her veil would not get caught on the buckle.

Next, we have a beautiful matching table runner. We even mimicked the double ribbon border just like we did for the runner. Here, we were able to use rhinestones to accent the buckle.

Lastly, the bride's mother requested a special flag that would hang outside of the home the following day. This was for their going away party. She sent me the concept for the cartoon children holding fireworks and we took it from there!
